On Monday evening Heather Lewis, Executive Director of the Montgomery County based Reuniting Family Bail Fund hosted it's first  networking event for Black led/Black focused, Mutual Aid and other movement allies committed to uplifting other marginalized communities.  The event was held at Von C Brewing and attended by Black and Minority owned businesses  who pitched their organizations missions and goals to the audience.

Among the organizations present were, BBY Wellness Center ,  Do This For YouHaya Ground Studio, a new art gallery and event space in town, and Hispanic Heritage Association, HHA.    Miss Lewis stated that the goal of this initiative is to create a network of movement organizations and allies so that they can build upon the momentum of the work and progress that has been made toward racial awareness and equality.
